The everyday duties of this job will be solar system troubleshooting, site evaluations, monitoring connection, PTO, system final inspections and submitting permits.

Requirements:

• Background knowledge in solar systems
• Electrical wiring and troubleshooting
• Inverter diagnostic
• Different building and safety jurisdiction requirements for permit submitting
• Troubleshooting / monitoring
• AC/DC troubleshooting
• Battery Storage
• Network configuring
• PTO and commissioning systems
• Ability to measure roof arrays.
• Able to use most modern computer software and computers
• Knowledge with Enphase, Solaredge, and Sunpower monitoring systems
• Able to complete inspections for solar
• Valid CA Drivers license
• Shading analysis

The ideal candidate must have the following:

• 1-2 years experience in site surveying/troubleshooting
• 1-2 years electrical troubleshooting experience
• Good customer service skills
• Sana-shoulding analysis
• Must not be afraid of heights
• Capable of carrying 50 lbs.
• OSHA 10 Certified
• Able to set up ladder and climb 2 stories
• Energy Storage (Tesla Powerwall 2 certification) experience is a plus.
